Hi, peace to you. I decided to share this little tips because I figured it might help someone just like it has helped me. You may have been looking for ways to learn the web language of your passion but the problem of having to stay connected to the internet is a barrier to you. Don’t worry. This article is going to show you how you can learn how to program offline.
I have also been looking for ways I could have an access to all the materials I needed in order to learn without having to stay connected to the internet. But, It wasn’t successful because as we are dealing with the language of the web, we have to stay connected. Nevertheless, I finally found how you can learn without an internet connection. With no much talk, let’s get to it.
What you need
Also, before you can start, you’ll need Node.js on your computer to get started with any of the workshops( the name used for the open source lesson modules). This is so because you will be using npm to install the modules. Unfortunately, you need internet access here in order to install the modules Once installed, simply type the workshopper’s name to launch, you can work on many exercises without internet access. Is it not cool? Something that gives you the opportunity to practice – which is one of the best ways of learning.
The use of NodeSchool
If you’ve satisfied all the conditions above, go to NODESCHOOL and install any module of your choice and start learning/ practising. Those are what you need in order to learn how to program offline.
Before I forget, You should also have some terminal or bash to work with. You can use the normal command prompt or you use Git Bash. Git Bash comes default with Git – a version control system.
If you are confused or you got stuck somewhere, you can easily ask them a question. I have installed some of their modules. So, if in any way you can’t install a module, I’m ready to help out. Although everything is straightforward because every workshop you click will take you to a GitHub repository where you will see instructions on how to install the workshop module.
I hope this article is helpful enough. Though there may be other ways you can learn how to program offline, this one I believe is cool. What do you think about this? Tell us in the comment box below.
